Intueor supported a large transit agency to in-source capabilities and complete a multi-disciplinary, enterprise-wide initiative to improve capital program management processes.
Faced with the need to complete numerous projects and upgrade internal systems, the client required support to in-source more of its capital program management and controls activities, and to establish an internal Program Controls Group. This would require a top-to-bottom look at the client's organizational design, and identifying ways to build capabilities that had previously been outsourced.
The client charged Intueor with managing the entire transformation effort. We were responsible for responsible for scope, schedule, cost and risk management, and quality control. Intueor led the management of organizational change resulting from the transformation initiative, including stakeholder engagement, change impact analysis (on roles, responsibilities, job duties and skills), communications management, user training, and knowledge transfer.
With Intueor's support, the client was successful in operationalizing new business processes and information systems, and standing up the Program Controls Group, resulting in a sustainable acceptance and adoption of the transformation initiative across the organization. The timing of this transformation coincided with other transformational initiatives related to enterprise asset management, integrating the client's capital needs assessment functions into the new capital planning and programming processes.
The U.S. Navy sought local partners to revitalize a campus, near where the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) is headquartered. In response, the client and the Navy worked together to deliver new facilities for NAVWAR, including a central mobility hub.
